Allow me to introduce myself...

My name is Owen Gillett. My lifelong passion has always been music, be it composing, performing or recording. I attained my diploma of Audio Engineering via SAE in 2005 and followed on to work as a recording and mixing engineer at John Reynolds Recording Studio.

It was there that I had the absolute pleasure to experience the mastering world under and alongside the late, great Mastering engineer, Neville Clark of Disk Edits. 

Neville has an extensive mastering portfolio having worked for many renowned artists and I thank him deeply for the abundance of knowledge he provided me during our time together. 

Neville's influence and discovering the life changing book 'Mastering Audio by Bob Katz' were the main catalysts for creating my Studio in order to pursue my career in audio Mastering. 

The studio 

Situated in the foothills of the Flinders Ranges in South Australia, my studio was custom co-designed and acoustically treated by the very talented acoustician Chris Morton. 

I currently use a minimalist signal path consisting of Event Opal monitors fed by world class Benchmark DA converters and use TC electronic hardware and software.

As a dedicated mastering engineer, teamed with my custom space, I will to assist you in delivering the best results possible, working with you every step of the way.
